Quality and Sizing; more warmer for your dollar pt. 1

One thing we’ve heard at market is some people have a hard time picturing leg warmers on older kids and young adults.  Leg warmers have become somewhat synonymous with infants and toddlers.  With our warmers that’s just not the case.  There are a lot of things that make our warmers different than others currently on the market.

First, our warmers are made right here in the USA.  The quality is unsurpassed and you’ll immediately notice the difference.  The stretch is amazing and our warmers are thicker and softer than the imported warmers you can find today.

As important as all of those things are its not just the quality that makes them different; its the size.  At 15″ in length we’ve added years to their use.   Our warmers fit better, longer, staying a part of your child’s wardrobe much longer than their infant and toddler years.

I think Elias ( age 6 ) and Anna ( age 8 ) did a great job showing just how perfect they fit and look; even on older kids!

*as a side note, in order to get the warmers to sit below their knees for these pictures we still had to scrunch them!  This only means one thing; as perfect as they look now they will look just as great for years to come.*

(keep an eye out for our teen/college sizing post coming soon)

**Anna’s dress was made thanks a great DIY site found on Pinterest.  I used their shirt drafting post and combined it with her striped skirt tutorial.  http://shwinandshwin.blogspot.com/2012/02/striped-skirt.html It was easy and fun!  I highly recommend the site**

Photo Prop Shopping; LSU

Last week I took my Liv with me to Jo-Anns to get some photo prop supplies.  Having only had boys, until now, It’s fun to see her eyes light up to lots of new things like Boa’s and Beads!  She fell in LOVE with the Mardi Gras beads and giggled and laughed all throughout the store.  Along with watching her silly mama try on bunny ears in the Easter Isle!  I admit it, I caved and bought a ton of them!  I threw on some LSU warmers and thought, “let’s make the most of this!”  Here are a few shots from our bead-filled fun!

A House Divided CAN stand!

My house is full of friends and family getting ready to enjoy great food and a great football game!   Although, my house should come with a warning sign!

Yes, I admit it, I am ALWAYS thinking about Dittany Baby.  Even on Superbowl Sunday.  Thankfully I have amazing friends who are gracious enough to indulge me.

We took my daughter for a quick walk to try out my new photo idea; A House Divided CAN Stand.  We had fun and the pictures are everything I hoped they would be.

I’ve been fighting with my camera as of late, not thinking its taking very good pictures.  I’m excited how these turned out thanks to http://paintthemoon.net/blog/ and their “Sunny Days” Photoshop action.  It definitely made all the difference.  Now I just need to get a camera that gives me that blurry background look.  Thankfully, in the mean time, I have Paint the Moon to thank for a great picture!

Time for Big & Bold: Ohio State Buckeyes

I love Facebook.  Being able to interact with our customers on a daily basis changes everything.  Just because I like a design doesn’t necessarily mean that the fans of a certain college would!  For example, last fall I posted some of our Arkansas Razorback ideas.  What I thought would be the favorite, by far, was the argyle.  What really happened; no one liked the argyle, not one.

That brings me to Thursday of this week.  I was checking our Facebook page and found this:

“All the colleges have fun bold prints. Then there is the boring Ohio State Buckeye ones. Is there a possibility of getting red buckeye ones??”

I sincerely LOVE getting posts like this!    Plain and simple; we want to carry what you love.

So, Ohio State Fans, here’s what we came up with today.  What do you think?
